Hidden behind a bookcase in the Vintage Pot Parlor lies the Dank Disco Club. This room puts a cannabis-inspired spin on the typical modern day nightclub and features marijuana-themed art, glowing decor, and a spinning disco ball. Shannon Barber created the twinkling bong chandeliers that hang in the corner of the room as well as the eye-catching cannabis artwork.
Flower has high bioavailability, which means a higher percentage of cannabinoids make it into your system than in some other methods. Because smoking allows the cannabinoids to pass directly into your bloodstream through the lungs, the high is almost immediate.
Another way to consume cannabis is by ingesting it. The recommended dosage for cannabis-infused edibles is 10 mg. Cannabinoids in edibles are absorbed through the digestive tract which causes a delayed onset. Though individual metabolisms can cause this dosage to vary, it is recommended that you wait at least two hours before deciding whether or not to take a second dose.
Eating your weed will result in a completely different sensation than inhaling it. That’s because cannabis that is metabolized reacts with different cannabinoid receptors in the body, specifically CB2 receptors, which are located throughout the body rather than in the brain. This means that eating marijuana will make your body feel “stoned” without causing much mental change.
Lotions, balms, sprays, transdermal patches, or salves meant to be applied directly to the skin. Unlike cannabis products that produce a psychoactive effect, THC topicals provide localized effects to the specific area of the body where they are applied without a high. There is a huge variety of cannabis topicals on the market so there are plenty of opportunities to find a product that supports your specific needs.
